Greek Honey (Μέλι) – Attiki

The mediterranean region is a large one; but between its Aegean islands and the middle east, many pine nut tress, carob trees and aromatic herbs such as thyme, dill and sage grow abundantly. The bees in this region produce thier honey from their aromatic flowers, and in my experience the resulting product it is unlike anywhere else on earth!

Could this be related to the legendary Ambrosia?

From Amazon* (posted by Krinos Foods):

Attiki Honey is gathered off the Aegean islands of Greece, which are carpeted with thyme and hundreds of other indigenous flowers and plants, untouched by chemical and herbicides. These flowers are the source of Attiki’s Honey which is famous for its unique flavor and velvety richness. Drizzled over feta cheese, mixed into Greek yogurt or spread over toast, honey makes a healthy and nutritious snack.
